The EnglishScore app, the English test, and your results are completely free to access. However, if you choose to purchase an official certificate, please note that all certificate purchases are final and non-refundable.

Why are certificate purchases non-refundable?

When you complete your purchase, you explicitly agree to our terms at checkout. We are unable to issue refunds for the following reasons:

• Immediate Processing: When you buy a certificate, you agree to EnglishScore reviewing your test right away. Because processing begins immediately, purchases cannot be cancelled once the review starts.

• 24-Hour Review Period: Security reviews can take up to 24 hours to complete, meaning your certificate will not be available instantly. A pending review in times of high volumes does not make a purchase eligible for a cancellation or refund.

• Test Rule Violations: All users must strictly follow our Test Rules. If you do not follow these rules, your certificate will be invalidated, and you will not be eligible for a refund. If you believe your test was unfairly invalidated, you have the option to appeal the decision to have your test results re-reviewed. If successful, your certificate will be issued.

• Institutional Acceptance: It is your responsibility to verify whether your employer, university, or institution accepts the EnglishScore certificate before making a purchase. We cannot issue refunds if an organisation declines to accept your certificate.
