We will not automatically mark you down if you write more or less than the suggested word count. There are no automatic fails for writing too much or too little.

However, we recommend writing within the guidelines as this is likely to give you a more accurate score. If you write less than suggested, there is less for our AI and your peers to review, and your score may be lower than expected. If you write more than suggested, this does not necessarily mean you will achieve a higher score.
